Cookie & Storage Policy
This page describes the browser/session storage used by the current Beerlicity test experience and separates it from technologies that may be added later.
Current account storage
Beerlicity uses Supabase Auth for pre-launch account creation, email verification, sign-in, sign-out and password recovery. Supabase may use browser storage needed to maintain an authenticated session between page loads. That storage is used for account/session operation, not as the Beerlicity reward Ledger.
Current demo storage
The rewards demo uses browser localStorage for simulated Pints, demo completions, demo payout history, demo Missing Pints cases and non-financial preferences such as onboarding or read-notification state. These values stay in the browser and are not authoritative account balances or real financial records.
What is not active
The current site does not use a production offerwall tracking stack, production payout tracking, or cross-context behavioural-advertising system. Provider and payout names shown inside Demo Mode are examples unless Beerlicity explicitly identifies them as a live configured service.
Current service providers
- Supabase: authentication and protected database services used during account testing.
- Netlify: website hosting and delivery.
These providers may use technical storage or process connection information necessary to provide and secure their services.
Future categories
- Strictly necessary: authentication, security, fraud prevention, session integrity and core preferences.
- Analytics/performance: optional service measurement and diagnostics where enabled and legally permitted.
- Offer attribution: future technologies needed to measure eligible offer clicks/completions and prevent duplicate rewards.
- Advertising/personalization: only if later enabled with the notices, consent or opt-out controls required by applicable law.
Choices
Non-essential technologies that require consent will not be treated as strictly necessary merely because they are convenient. Beerlicity will provide an appropriate preference mechanism before enabling consent-requiring production technologies and will respect legally required browser/global privacy signals.
Clearing local demo data
Clearing browser/site storage can remove local Demo Mode progress and preferences and may also sign a test account out if authentication storage is cleared. It does not create, remove or alter any real reward balance because no real reward Ledger is active in the current demo.
Contact
The final privacy contact is not yet published and will be provided before real reward or payout services open to the public.
